Conference and Awards Dinner with afternoon Teambuilding activity – “Help for Heroes” Charity Bike Build Challenge.
The Challenge
The client wanted to hold an annual Conference to include a teambuilding activity and evening Awards Ceremony for their IT & Transformation Divisions. The conference was for 120 delegates located in the client’s UK Head Office near LHR. The venue had to be within a 30-minute drive and have enough space for a fully branded presentation area, nine breakout spaces and a hospitality zone for a networking lunch, coffee breaks and evening Awards Ceremony. Importantly, there also had to be sufficient indoor space to run an afternoon teambuilding activity. In addition to full logistical and technical support, the client also wanted us to support with content development and to create a memorable highlights video which would be shown at the evening Awards Ceremony.
Our Solution
The Mansion House at Wokefield Park was selected as the venue for the conference. Not only did it provide sufficient space to accommodate the client’s meeting room requirements there were also enough bedrooms in the Mansion House to accommodate delegates who required overnight accommodation. We challenged the venue to break away from its conventional set-up. All the necessary areas would be expertly created, allowing the free flow of attendees between them. We would create a main stage area whose design was visually representative of the client and incorporate creative visuals throughout the space. The proposed agenda, presentation content and teambuilding activity were also designed to specifically meet the conference objectives and appeal to the profile of the delegates attending.

The Result
The client was delighted with the conference and the feedback from both the delegates and senior stakeholders was fantastic! The key messaging was clearly and concisely communicated and the teambuilding activity really resonated with everyone. Throughout the whole conference there was a great atmosphere and real sense of shared achievement.
